Month 1: Day 18 of cycle

Notes:

  • Timed contact tonight but DH has to work so contact early in the morning.
  • I am really scared now. I did feel some slight pains at the right abdomen but no sign of increased temperature yet. It is now day 18 but there seems to be no ovulation.
  • Bought a new thermometer and my temp today is at 36.3 – been having 36.3 since I first took the temp.
  • Is it possible to ovulate without the temp rising? I am scared 😦

Month 1: Day 17 of cycle

Notes:

  • Timed contact last night.
  • Possible untimed contact tonight.
  • Felt a very slight pain at the lower right abdomen last night but it lasted just a few seconds – is that the release of the egg? Hoping hard that it is the case 🙂
  • Still no sign of increased temperature.
  • Still scared.

Month 1: Day 16 of cycle

Notes:

  • Untimed contact last night.
  • Timed contact tonight.
  • Been trying to take temperature but broke the thermometer uh-oh

~~~~~
It is the 16th day of the cycle and am scared because:
  • I have not felt any pain that is supposed to signal the release of the egg.
  • I have not noticed any sudden drop or increase in my temperature. Is it because the weather’s been so cold these past few days? Still, that scared me coz the doc said I’d be able to experience the sudden increase in temp. Breaking the thermometer does not help, either. Sigh.
  • I am feeling some slight pain at my left breast already 😦 a signed of an impending period, perhaps?
Month 1:Fourth Day of Cycle
Went to the doc this morning…Notes are:
  • Hubby’s sperm analysis perfect. She called DH a millionaire 😀
  • It was me all along. Of course, am not sad. In fact, am happy that DH’s count is good – that would make the baby quest easier 🙂
  • Doc gave me Clomiphene citrate – that’s expected. I’ll be taking in beginning on the 18th until the 22nd. One tablet a day.
  • Have to do timed contact on the dates she noted for us.
  • Have to go back on the 26th to check for follicles.
~~~~~~

I really don’t want to keep my hopes up. I know that some women do get pregnant on the first cycle but many don’t. Well, I hope we’ll be lucky and blessed to get it on the first cycle, though 🙂 keeping fingers crossed!
